Presented by Kay Kelly Ed.S. and Sarah Plunkett MS CCC-SLP

ASHA Approved Provider
NASP Approved Provider

Level: Introductory

0.1 ASHA CEU

1 NASP CEU / NASP Practice Model Domain 3,4,5

This workshop provides an overview of literacy-based sessions across disciplines. This webinar examines literacy as a foundational life skill that supports academic, functional, and social-emotional development.

Participants will explore the five components of the Science of Reading, distinguish evidence-based instruction from guessing-based reading practices, and apply insights from a mock study and lesson plan to identify the benefits of integrating literacy activities into discipline-specific instruction.
