This intermediate webinar explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in school-based practice.
Participants will gain foundational knowledge of AI applications in educational settings, identify important terms and concepts, and examine key risk and security considerations when using AI as a school-based practitioner.
The session will also provide hands-on opportunities to practice creating effective task prompts across various disciplines.
Learning Objectives
After this workshop attendees will be able to:
- Describe three risk and security considerations for utilizing artificial intelligence as a school-based practitioner.
- Define five key terms related to artificial intelligence.
- Construct a prompt using the four components of prompt creation to create an AI command for their area of expertise.

Course Completion Requirements
In order to receive a certificate of attendance and qualify for ASHA CEUs or NASP CEUs (if applicable), learners must meet the following requirements within 24 hours of the course ending:
- Attend the course live in its entirety as recorded by Zoom attendance records.
- Complete the post-course survey and evaluation.
- Complete a 10-question multiple-choice test and score 80% or higher with retake opportunities.
