eLuma Team Summit 2020

We care deeply about the students we serve, and it’s important we come together to collaborate and create with the best possible solutions for them – having the eLuma Team Summit is one of the ways we do that.

Last week the eLuma corporate team came together in Lehi, Utah for its 3rd annual team summit.

It’s amazing to see how much eLuma has grown in the last year. Since the last summit, eLuma has welcomed 16 new corporate team members.

• David Wyly – Principal Software Engineer

• Jake Galbraith – Senior Frontend Engineer

• Sheldon Larsen – Senior Backend Engineer

• Lisa McBride – Customer Success Partner

• Rachel Keener – Clinical Services Specialist

• Theresa Larson – Clinical Services Specialist

Due to this growth, the summit kicked off with a fun “Speed Meeting” game where team members had 2 minutes to quickly get to know each other and then compete to see who remembered the most about each person they talked to. It was a great opportunity to connect and learn more about our new team members.

Afterward, the group discussed company updates and broke out into their respective departments to review their current goals and to brainstorm new ones for the upcoming year.

Later that night, everyone enjoyed an exciting Luau filled with delicious Hawaiian food from The Salty Pineapple, games, live entertainment, and lots of laughter.

The next day each department presented their new goals, and enjoyed a Lunch and Learn presented by School Psychologist, Software Strategist, and Consultant Hilary Scharton. She gave a lively presentation and shared stories about how small actions can have a big impact.

After the Lunch and Learn, departments broke out into a variety of team activities. The activities included playing frisbee golf, go-kart racing, and rafting on the Provo River.

On the final day of the Summit, departments finalized their goals and set action plans for what to do moving forward.

This has been great Summit and we’re excited for what lies ahead.
