This webinar will provide strategies for preparing for school-based teletherapy sessions, including Tier 1 and 2 behavior strategies, crisis response tools and discipline-specific approaches to ensure sessions run smoothly.

Learning Objectives

After this workshop attendees will be able to:

    • Describe two adjustments to prepare for challenges in school-based therapy sessions
    • Identify three Tier 1 and Tier 2 behavior strategies for working through challenges within sessions
    • List three proactive strategies for preparing students for school-based teletherapy sessions

0-5 minutes Introduction

5-20 minutes Proactive Strategies for Session Success

20-30 minutes Challenges and Adjustments Needed for Sessions

30-50 minutes Crisis Response Management

50-60 minutes Q&A

Time for Post-Test and Workshop Evaluation

Course Completion Requirements

In order to receive a certificate of attendance and qualify for ASHA CEUs or NASP CEUs (if applicable), learners must meet the following requirements within 24 hours of the course ending:

  • Attend the course live in its entirety as recorded by Zoom attendance records.
  • Complete the post-course survey and evaluation.
  • Complete a 10-question multiple-choice test and score 80% or higher with retake opportunities.

What should I do if I need to cancel my registration?

This course is free. No cancellation required or refunds applicable.
