About the Presenter:
Rebecca Comizio is a dynamic and passionate school psychologist. Her career began as a high school English teacher, but quickly evolved to her true calling of supporting children in academic, social, behavioral and mental health. Rebecca holds a B.S. in Education from Central Connecticut State University, an M.A. in Philosophy & Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an M.A. in School Psychology from Iona University.
She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University, a member and volunteer for the National Association of School Psychologists, and the mother of 4 wonderful adult children. Rebecca is also the co-founder and co-host of School Psyched Podcast, a podcast for school psychologists, and the co-author of two books, including The Resilience Workbook for Kids (New Harbinger, 2022). In her free time, Rebecca enjoys running and reading widely in the field of psychology.
