This webinar is designed to introduce related service practitioners new to school-based services or who want a refresher course on the IEP process, IEP development, and IEP implementation. Case studies will support the course material in a collaborative workshop format.
Learning Objectives
After this workshop attendees will be able to:
- Describe three purposes of an IEP within the context of FAPE.
- Utilize the provided case studies to write Present Levels and SMART goals for a demonstration within your discipline.
- Identify five parts of finalizing and implementing an IEP.

Course Completion Requirements
In order to receive a certificate of attendance and qualify for ASHA CEUs or NASP CEUs (if applicable), learners must meet the following requirements within 24 hours of the course ending:
- Attend the course live in its entirety as recorded by Zoom attendance records.
- Complete the post-course survey and evaluation.
- Complete a 10-question multiple-choice test and score 80% or higher with retake opportunities.
